Great find and capture! We have flickers here that are simular but have a red band on the neck.I haven't been able to get a good shot one of yet.

It is very difficult to photograph them, I have been able to capture to two varieties of carpenters, to those that your you mention with red band and to these that he didn't know, with yellow band!!!!!
