Had to get fitted for a tux for Codeman's wedding recently. Notice that my usual minor league baseball cap was still on. I told Codeman that I hadn't decided which one I would wear to the wedding. I think he belives that I will wear one.

Would I? Hum- probably not...

I haven't worn a tuxedo since my junior year prom, 30+ years ago, and I had no idea what size I would wear.

Because I have a large neck (OK, so I am huge overall), I have to wear a 3 XL shirt. This is insane- don't they make shirts with 19 1/2" necks in any other size? A simple XL- tall would be about right.The shirt felt like a tent on me- I'm sure that will be real comfortable on the steamy June day they get married....

For my wedding back in '89, my dad swiped a hairpiece from a mannequin in the tux shop, then wore it to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Those on my wife's side who had never met him were making sly comments about that man's awful wig; the rest of us thought it was pretty funny. =)

That would have been great so see- a bad toupee , worn on purpose for laughs, is a great idea! Your Dad seems to have the same sense of humor as mine- I'm not sure what strange thing I am going to pull at my son's wedding (in good taste, of course), but I still have 8 weeks to think of something ;-)
