Roadiepig's Fotothing

This is either Taylor or Newton, one of the rescuded White Pelicans from our local zoo. My sister works with the birds, and she let me come into their enclosure to take a few photos and to feed them.

Really cool birds, except one tried to take Lease's glasses off of her face and accidentally scrapped her nose. My sister said he was just curious and and wanted to see what they were. I felt bad because I told Lease that the pelicans were very mellow, and then one tries to eat her eyeglasses.

She wasn't hurt, just a little freaked. The pelican seemed a little upset , too...
