Taken with the aid of my trusty tripod.

A shower fell last week just before sunset., covering everything outside with droplets of rainwater. SInce it was nearly dark, I mounted the Digital Rebel onto the tripod, and then set the fstop at f16 (to capture more of the image in focus) Shutter speed was anywhere from 8 to 12 seconds (!) in the photos I took.

This one was #1 of my two favorites....

Yes- almost too dark to see and a 8 second exposure time. My hands shake at 1/30th of a second sometimes, too ;)

Oh, I know, me too. But if I expose flowers for 8 seconds you won't be able to see a thing afterwards! There's too much light in, even with a high aperture :-S
