The first area was in between several naturalized dafodils, so they had a free pass to bloom until the leaves of the bulbs died back. From there, they have now spread to several other spots where they are all in bloom as I type this entry. Each bloom is smaller in diameter than a US dime. The petals are thin, and have pointed ends. Might be a member of the aster family- they do resemble the wild asters that bloom here late every fall... | |
