Before you ask- no, I did not harm these baby birds in any way while taking these photos. Mom robin isn't too happy to see me when I show up to take these photos(you will see in a future shot, although she doesn't leave the nest as quickly as she did before), but she gets less upset with my arrival every day. She also returns to the nest seconds after I take each photo.

So, to sum it up? I would never do anything to harm these baby birds.

That said...

I checked the nest (mom had flown away, probably looking for food), and I found that one more egg had hatched. No sign of eggshells- she must remove them from the nest.

So two out of three eggs have hatched. Maybe she will make it, after loosing her brood about a month ago in the heavy rains ...
