The residential area where I live runs into a park called Dwaalpark. The park is distinguished into two parts. The part closest to the residential area has winding paths and trails, a tenniscourt with teahouse and a canoeclub called Flevo. There are landings (also accessible for the disabled) to do some fishing.

The most western part of the park is more of a wilderness. Small paths run through the woods and grassland. Pieces of land are seperated by small canals with crossing bridges.

Dwaalpark means wanderpark. So you can wander through the park for quite some time. Also with the canals a nice canoetrip is possible.

Het Dwaalpark is het wijkpark van de wijk Grote Waal. Het is in twee delen te onderscheiden. Het direct aan de wijk grenzende deel heeft slingerende wandelpaden, een tenniscomplex met theehuis en het onderkomen van kanovereniging Flevo. Er zijn steigers (ook toegankelijk voor gehandicapten) om een hengeltje uit te gooien.
Het meest westelijke deel van het park is veel wilder van aard. Hier slingeren kleine paadjes met houtsnippers door bosjes en kleine graslandjes. Veel water en dus ook hier en daar een bruggetje.
