Nice hydrangeas they need a fair bit of watering - also, try some copper sulphate in the soil to get blue ones

Thanks Dave for your advice! :-) I had them on the windowsill inside but the lea\ves started to hang down so I put them on the balcony. And indeed, they need a lot of water!
I'll see where I can get copper sulphate. I mean to remember people used copper coins in the old days....is that right?

Not sure about coins - a pocket full of farthings for example?? ho ho
