Yes, Riet, I think they are quite popular here in Britain at least.
If my neighbour (100 years old!) presses the alarm, it rings at a local centre (run by the council) and they then ring her daughter or me, and if we are not available, someone will come with a key to open her door.

Marie...yes we do have a lot of warden aided accommodation over here....Great things ..and nice to know that the elderley are well looked after....

An alarm....while you are dancing, you don't need one.....keep smiling.....
