Dear John, painting helps me, when I am painting I forget for a while the troubles and losses I had in my life. Of course there were good times too.
I feel very lonesome here. No family. No friends.
Elly and her sister Monica have done so much work during the last months and still do to get me in Almelo. In their neighbourhood are houses for seniors. In the middle of all those houses is a care center. When I need help I can get it there. It is very difficult to rent a house there for me because I don't live in their regio. Well it is a long story but Monica knows a lady who has connections because she has done that work too.
Elly has also done so much work for this. Filling out forms, telephonecalls, etc. etc.

Take good care of yourself! Your life is also not what you had expected, I think!
Would be nice if you could come to Holland again for a vacation some time!
