Roses have something gentle, elegant, soft and yet strong..........they used to smell very lovely but the flowers you buy in the shops nowadays have lost their fragrance :(

Some of the roses have nice fragrance... they combine the beauty, the fragile feeling and they give their fragrance but since they are quite more expensive, those are not the common if flower shops. I forgot the name, but I can find it for you if you'd like.
I used to buy one single one once upon a while, just for myself :) should probably start doing it again :)
Would be nice to know the name of that rose! You never know if I could find one somewhere. In Ommen there is not a flowershop but maybe somewhere else not too far away:)
the owner of the flowershop when I was living in IJmuiden some years ago used to keep few of those just for me. I'd always order the flowers for the office from him...if I cannot find it here, locally, I'll visit his shop next time I'm there. He will remember for sure :)
they had such a sweet and delicate fragrance...
If I find it there, I can bring it to you on my way home then :) if you'd like that, of course.
