Could easily be so...I have two of them since several years. Many things, like clothing f.e. have stickers with the name of the country where the article has been produced. These chairs had not.....
It's my favourite chair at the table....with all those cushions....I have awfully bad neck- and back joints. I can't sit on those modern low chairs. :)

A lot of neat things here, what a lovely room! .....ant what is a great balance in the background!

The balance belonged to my partner's father and is rather old as my partner is almost 70 himself now!
The balance is of German make. I regret my partner had it painted,..........he should have kept it in the original state........
