I've got too one owl at "diablesse" fotothing, but hidden on a tree.....Adore the owls!

how did you do it? and where?

The town I live in had a "Medieval Festival" the last 2 Sundays. Part of the event was a couple of bird rescue centres and they had these owls (and some other birds of prey) on display.

All were used to people so getting close to photograph wasn't a problem. Some were even so tame that they could be stroked (carefully!).

Stroking the chest of a large Eagle Owl was quite an experience.
