Thomas Burns was a well known magistrate (Judge) who served in the mid 1880's. His wife & family are also interred here in this tomb.

Victoria Lawn Cemetery, situated beside the Welland Canal in east St. Catharines in Niagara Region, was established in 1856 by the town of St. Catharines.

The cemetery consists of 170 acres of grave sites and over 70,000 people are interred here.
