"Emily" our 9 year old Great Pyrenees Mountain dog. Sadly, we know we won't have her much longer as the average age is 9 - 10 years, and she's had a couple of seizures lately. She's not in pain and she still loves to snuggle & play.

Yes, we too had to part from our Berneses when they were 9 and 10 years old.
She looks very much like the Hovawart of our daughter. He died a month ago at the age of ten. I will post a photo when he was 9 years old, the last time we saw him.
Thank you senna3! We "rescued" her only 1 1/2 yrs ago, but she is such a aweetheart, that it seems like she has been with us much longer. I will watch for your photo of the Hovawart.
