The Welland Canal is part of the St. Lawrence Seaway System and allows lakers, ocean going vessels & pleasure boats to climb the Niagara Escarpment.

Yes it does bandsix! At least it all gets recycled by nature!

From the Arctic, down hundreds of rivers, into the Great Lakes system, to the St. Lawrence River to the Atlantic Ocean to the Arctic & then it starts all over again!
