Victoria Lawn Cemetery, situated beside the Welland Canal in east St. Catharines in Niagara Region, was established in 1856 by the town of St. Catharines.

The cemetery consists of 170 acres of grave sites and over 70,000 people are interred here.

In Europe the grave-stones are usually very soberly in colour, whereas in Vietnam they have very vivid colours. A remarkable difference!
