Here is the Lobby of the "Hotel". It used to be the barracks where single naval officers stayed. Today it's where temporary residents stay. I call it a "Hotel" with a grain of salt because the place is really rather self-service. You wash your own towels and sheets. You vaccuume your own room. No room service nor even anyone actually available the front desk. For the holidays I helped decorate the lobby. I put up this banner. It says "Hauoli Makahiki Hou" which means Happy New Year in Hawaiian.
