Thanks Lensvision! It's amazing how difficult it can be to get this shot without people standing in front of the bell. This bell is a real icon... and visitor attraction.

PaP67, Come to think of it, I never did see anyone actually washing those windows but they must do so on a regular basis. The view through them is really good.

Yes Fleur, it is rather awe-inspiring. Right here in Philadelphia is the birthplace of the United States of America. These two icons representing deeply held values and intentions of the nation, Independence and Liberty.
Of course the true nature of these intentions and their interpretation through history and time has changed but they are still representative of the foundation upon which the USA was founded.
