Makapu`u Lighthouse

If you were to trespass past the fence, and brave the supposed "falling rocks" mentioned in the prior two photos, you would make your way down the path to see this structure known as the Makapu`u Lighthouse.

Of course, if you wanted to stay within the law, you could just hike to the top of Makapu`u Head and look down and there you would be able to see the lighthouse as pictured here. Still, I suppose nothing is quite as good as being able to stand right next to the lighthouse itself but I guess for most folks this will just have to suffice.
