**edit** Interestingly, these gau appear to be missing the red dates that are supposed to be on top in the center. Which is somewhat ironic since the date is symbolic of "good luck" and although the sign says "Good Luck Gau" it is missing the critical attribute that would make it "good luck". Oh well.
To make them the traditional way, it takes quite a lot of work and time. It is, however, a very tasty (and symbolic) food of the season. Ahh, food for the mouth, and for the soul.
