That's a Moiré
Going with the "screen" theme, the photo you see, depending on your monitor's settings will show your a different "Moire Pattern":
This photo was taken through a screened window (obviously). If you look closely you should be able to see the north side of Diamond Head in the rain.

Yeah moiré effect is a real bane to folks who try to scan pictures (especially newspaper/magazine ones) too. If you're even slightly off square you get moiré because the slight interference with the tiny color dots and the grain of the scan. Unless that's a visual effect you want (which actually was intentional in this case) one could go crazy trying to get rid of moiré.

Nice moire! It works well! I learned that when I was in design school when working with shading films.
