Hi, mum says it is called in Hawaii "Ohia Lehua". It mostly grows on the big island of Hawaii up the slopes of the volcanoes. Legend has it that if you pick one of the flowers it will rain ....... and that is very TRUE..... because it always rains on the volcanoes. Lovely shot...........
