Us Americans Have gotten lazy, I can remember when my grandmother, and mother use to hang their clothes on a line. Now we have dryers!!! It is just noot the same.
When I was a kid me and my brother use to hide it the clothes until mother played the
Policeman and we had to stop!!!!!
Glenn, lots of us here still wash and hang our clothes on a line like this. I should say all of us who lives in a house still do it though many of us have dryers too. Sunshine always gives a very special clean smell to our clothes.......
When I was young I played the policeman or hide and seek under a line too! :)))
