As today was announced to be (an immediate) public holiday, so I went to visit my grand mother, After that we went to have lunch in an area not very far from the Government house. On the way I found these and I took pics from my car......sorry they are not in good quality.

It does look like we have some celebration here. Lots of people came out to see those soldiers. They gave yellow roses together with drinking water and Ice-cream to the soldiers and lots of them take pics together !! :)))

** I'll catch up with your pics later....didn't sleep for all night LOL....and will have meeting tomorrow. Again, Thank you SO MUCH for all kindness and best wishes given to me and our country **

	Sep 20 2006 23:55 GMT Poulet PRO Dear Lie, There're some soldiers around the important area in BKK. such as infront of some TV. stations, the Chitrlada Palace and around the area of the Grand palace (that is called Rattanakosin island). But they are not all around BKK. For me, it is safe and calm here and seems like there are joyful around those area cause people keep going out to visit soldiers and gave things as I told above. Yes, it looks strange to see them in the city as you may see from the link I gave, but it should be at this moment. I saw lots of tourists still going out to shopping and visit places Lie...... Well,....as I know,...I'm sure it is safe to come here and visit places that you'd love to before you go to Phuket. And as you see, you might found some soldiers infront of some places you will visit, that might made you feel uncomfortable for sometimes. It still raining here Lie....everyday ! So please take care. The weather is so strange this year. However, I really hope you'll enjoy your stay here and if you'd like to have more info. pls let me know :))))
