My heart is shattered. I made the painful decision to put my amazing 3 year old British Shorthair cat Lili to sleep on 11/7/11. She had ongoing health issues that were getting worse the older she got.

All this was due to her stupid breeder not vaccinating her & NOT TREATING HER for Cat Flu which caused an auto immune reaction where her body thought her own teeth were the enemy. She had a Cortisone injection every 3 months or so to control the symptoms which were doing a good job until recently plus all manner of antibiotics. The vets & I tried everything we could apart from the drastic measure of pulling all her teeth out!! :,^((

From the second I saw Lili I was under her spell. I felt like the luckiest owner in the world. I know now that she's passed that I was living a lot of my life for her. All I wanted to do was save her & give her a full, loving life. I never got my wish but I love Lili with all my heart & soul & she knows it.

R.I.P. my "Earth Angel" I hope you're still here with me watching over me.

I love you always & forever Lili Pilly.

Thankyou both so much. Well it's almost been a week & I still feel lost without her. She would follow me from room to room & settle down & sleep wherever I was. She literally seemed to fill up the house as she was everywhere with me.

I hated having to give Lili her medicine as she didn't enjoy it one bit. I would go into the fridge & grab a piece of ham to say I'm sorry & I would break off little bits @ a time & hand feed her them. Doing this for the last 2 & a half years strengthened our bond alot.

I think she's been visiting my youngest son Brandon in his dreams as he's had a few about her & Gismo playing together which is comforting. He said we even looked in her mouth & there were no ulcers or anything.

I miss so so much my Lili Pops.
