This is great coverage of the Canadian Snowbirds. I met one of them last summer at an airshow, a real sweetheart.

Thank you very much - they really fantastic - on par with the Blue Angels. If you look back in my archive or just click on "View entire album" under the photo there are many, many much better and "prettier" shots there from the previous years.

Not a problem t. - healthy exchange without personal attacks is always welcome - especially when people recognize the difference between fact and opinion.

I think some people get turned off by rather lengthy discourse and lengthy or obtuse responses.

As I'm sure you well know, miss understandings on the web are so easy - in face to face, only 30% of remembered and processed conversation is verbal - the rest is tone, expression and body language - none of which can be viewed in print.

I constantly edit myself before sending a post - sharp wit, intolerance and impatience make for potentially "dangerous" or damaging interpretation.

Several times daily I decide not to post at all when I want to - too much energy to compile a reply etc.conspires to keep healthy and constructive intercourse difficult or impossible.

The as you put it Bill..."boring" background only serves to enhance the wonderful capture of the planes as they go through their routine!

You should have seen the original - white washed out bland, almost distracting and because of the color of the Canadian jets - have to spend a lot of time editing.
