any idea why all the moons on digital turn out brown?

PP - you bum! We had clouds and rain :(

DS - we got really lucky, and tonite after mostly cloudy skies it cleared for me to get a pic of the "official" full moon! :)

junne - I think it has to do with the fact that almost all digitals actually do some processing of the photo we shoot before they save them as jpegs.
I'm guessing that when the built-in processor compares the moon to it's database of pics and info the natural color appears to be incorrect and the brown is their interpretation of the closest fit.
