shot in raw mode - editing applied; sharpen, raise white level, raise brightness in shadows highlights and overall by an average of 55%

this guy was in almost total darkness compared to the background. this are never gets sunlight so cspturing birds without a tripod is almost impossible!

(constructive critique is welcome)

Looks good to me.
I shoot raw all the time now.
Definately gives you more scope when it comes to editing.

Maybe you should play with the whitebalance a bit, the picture is kinda blue right now.
