The temp inched up to 51F today - so a lot of it is finally clearing out. The sun that is hidden from the northern exposures still have a few inches.

Collllllllld. But I love the deep snow. It looks so pretty and gives us photographers a lot of chances of good photos. Nearly as deep as we had it last year lol.

In 1985 we had such a lot of snow that people did better to remember where they had parked their car.........

We've got some snow birds that winter over here. They would love this. If I see them again I'll give them a pointer.

send the big ones we're only 15 mile from the confluence of the great rivers where >550 mating pairs of bald eagles spend the coldest part of winter.
The little ones might end up as fodder.:-)

I'd love to go to Grafton to see the Eagles...did that one winter but without camera (mom and girlfriend along). Great sight! I didn't know there were that many...I thought it was something around 200 pairs?
