MM - they're actually simple to do - all you need is a tripod or a steady hard surface (a remote release is a god idea to - prevents blur, or you can set on delayed exposure).

I shoot using shutter priority initially, until I see what aperature the camera chooses - then I usally bump it up to between 11-18 and shoot a longer exposure in manual mode
