I'm enjoying the wedding series very much, it's almost like being there the way it's playing out..

However:

(constructive critique is welcome)

The photoshopping of the background is starting to become intrusive.. the edges don't look natural, and it makes the light falling on the figures all wrong.. just my opinion :o)

Thank you Pondy - I agree - the backgrounds were terrible - even when I lay on the floor - horrendous across uneven colored ceilings and walls

The straight up shots had almost no blank walls making it even worse. I only have a 9' wide backdrop - a 20' one would have helped but I would have needed 3 or 4 for the dfferent locations. I used my onboard flash in Commander Mode with a remote SB600. Ideally I would love to have had 2-3 light boxes.

Editing around hair is the biggest nightmare I've ever encountered - I'm certainly open to any suggestions there - as it is, I'm just re-sculpting their hairdos to fit the most common denominator and reduce the time editing

Any suggestions for the editing and the background color are definitly welcome.

Cha I totally haven't noticed ANYTHING wrong with any of these (except criticizing myself on a couple hahaha...I'm a woman...it's natural) photo shop wise.

I think they are wonderful, and we are SO grateful for all the hard work you are putting into this!

I'm glad you guys like them - I'm turning them around as fast as I can -

every once in a while my OCD gets out of control and I get stuck on just one for a couple of hours.... then I catch myself..:-))

Bill--Don't stress so much! You can even send us the completely uncut originals, and we can edit them if we think it needs to.

My dad actually said something about wanting his own originals--he likes to photoshop things, and I guess he'd use it as practice...hahaha
