Saturday we went to the other side of the Mississippi River (Illinois) to shoot skyline and fireworks photos.

A (US/State/Muncipal ?) park - East St. Louis (IL) has notoriety for crime (and a lot of death per capita) and when they opened the park it was announced that there would be a guard/cop/ranger on duty all open hours.

To answer the question - a combination I think of overzealous and wanting to go home.. :-)
