We finally caught a stroke of serendipity. We had so much hail damage on our 21 and 19 year old cars - our insurance co. (State Farm) - gave us enough money to buy a 7 year old reliable car.
YAY - I'm so glad she showered us with gifts from above.

Have a fantastic week!

A car, wow that's great. Is this just bullshit or did you get this on the gold market. 2005 it must be worth a fortune.

assuming this wasn't a joke from you, re-read the caption. It is 12 years newer than our youngest car and 14 younger than the Lincoln.
Consider a decade ago when we got a new $40-50k vehicle every other year...

To us is it is a fortune. I no longer make >$250k/year and we subsist on disability income alone. Other than the money I get from my photos we are a $500 problem from essentially breaking us financially. We can't even file bankruptcy until 2 years from now.

All savings - gone. No more IRA's or 401ks. No more stock or stock options.
40% of our net income goes to drug and Dr co-pays. Monthly. Yet we have an awesome health plan.

No nationalized medicine here - so we have to pay for premiums, co-pays and anything only partially covered. I'd love to see how you could provide me with +/- 30 Rx each month for the 3 of us.

Joke?????? It was manna from heaven - a fricken windfall.

The Taurus was always one of the more powerful astrological signs. I hope the new one helps you find peace and prosperity." Happy Highways to You". I think Dale Evans and Roy Rogers used to sing a version of that.
