YAY!!! My baby, er,um my notebook is back up and running!
I still have a few things to do to get back to normal, but the good thing is I now have an image of both the OS with drivers and a 2nd one with all apps installed. Now I just have to adjust settings all over, - but it will never take this long to recover again.
Do yourself a favor - buy something similar to Acronis - True Home Image, and make an image backup of your computer.
It's best to have one without lots of garbage included, but either way it can be a real time saver!
