Sunday I made my annual pilgrimage to the garden shop and bought flowers and pots for the back porch (a concrete pad 5'x5').
I have a Northern exposure (only) - so I have to take the plants out into the shifting sun and move them 3-4 times a day - but the blossoms make it worth it!

I have the same problem in reverse!
Now that it's starting to get hot (30c in the shade) on my terrace, I have to move my plants constantly into the shaded areas.
It's the reason that most of my plants are in containers, most of them couldn't survive the full sun in the heat of our mediterranean summer!
I wish - our building is 3 stories high +/- 50', and I can't build any "permanent" structures.
The stand would have to be at least 10' tall and yet collapsible to 7' height - max 2' diameter, be portable, able to withstand wind and made of inexpensive materials (in addition to being much more highly reflective than normal photo lighting.
To top it off, the reflector would have to be capable of being angled down about 30-45 degrees and hang on an arm at right angles to the support to be able to light the plants on the ground or even the 4' high table they sit on at night.
