Great moment ... well captured Bill

I don't think he wanted to let go....I've always been Daddy's girl....working on the roof together, fixing a car together, chopping and stacking wood....driving down town and singing all the stupid little songs we sung when I was growing up...I never realized it until now, but I don't think my dad ever sung those songs with any of the other kids...Man...makes me wanna cry a little that I can't have those moments anymore with him--I don't think we've sung in the car since I was 8 or 9...Maybe a little older...

I remember how much I hated when he was the one to work and my mom stayed home with us kids...The house was so much more peaceful when it was my dad who stayed at home. Us kids never misbehaved for him...we knew better. The only time he got mad at us was when we were bad for Mom.

Then he taught me how to drive...my mom was TERRIFYING to learn to drive with, so I only wanted Dad to take me...He was so calm and helpful and made it so much easier...

I still call my dad when I need help with something...When the washer broke and I took it apart when Jamie was at work, I called Dad to help me put it back together because I was frustrated and couldn't do it alone....Dad helped me fix it too, so we wouldn't have to buy a new one...

Great capture, Bill....it really makes me want to cry a little...=)
