I like it very much, but as you asked for constructive critique... I feel that technically the head should be more left with space for the bird to look into, in other words composition a little too central. But as I said, I like it. Also like the sharpness of the image and the blurred background works very well.

I made an executive decision - I could have cropped the photo for posting, but since it is the only thing not blurred - the attention is still drawn to her.

I could have also shot it that way, but as you can see from the tech specs I was shooting at 1/2 the speed it should be for this focal length (still - thank goodness for VR lenses), had already bumped the iso to 640 and she was moving fast away from me.
I had the focal point set to center (I can't stand closest object - 99% of the time it's not what I want focus on) and didn't have time to recompose to the left - kept trying and she kept moving out of frame...:-))
