Ah, you're into the scanning business now. Once you get hooked you'll go through ALL your old shots.
Good luck and tons of patience! :-)
PaintShop works fine, thanks again!

grimp - glad to hear that

the scanning in really time consuming - it has to be done from the HP all-in-one onto a mem card (my notebook doesn't take compact flash so I'm using an old small SD card I have for backup of 6 year old pda) and only works1 strip (of 4 - grrrr) at a time!!

I'm getting 3k x 2k (same as my 6.1 mp Nikon) images from the scans - but they have degraded enough that each needs to be editing fairly heavily - more time.................. and I am still wanting to buy a usb turntable to digitize my 4-500 lp's - l'll bedoing this the restf my life!!! :-))

Wonderful find Bill:)
Yes scanning can be very time consuming.

Good luck in your search for a reasonable priced USB turn table

thank you John!!

I hae waffled back and forth over 3 different ones - I really want to be able to have pitch control, cueing ability and 78rpm capabilities - but getting all of these in one is too much for our fixed income
