Yeau - Thank you for your help! I left the brown leaf in for 2 reasons.
1) I'm basically lazy and don't like to spend a lot of time editing in PSP
2) but primarily because it shows that even in an almost perfect pattern nature is imperfect

nice wall.. my husband built one of these in front of our home. He is a perfectionist and painstakingly leveled each and every stone. I thought he was going to lose his mind before it was over with. Did i mention we live on a steep hill? leveling a wall on a steep hill is challenging. Anyway... as far as your brown leaf and editing..... reality is not perfect. Editing has distorted our truths. Natural is the way to go.
