Thanks again for soliciting my comment. This is nice but on camera flash? You could do better. A good speedlight system and you would get more interesting lighting without really needing to try or by accident. A flash is a flash I know. But a good blitzkrieg with two or three speedlights can be a thing of beauty. Go for it. Don't be scared.

Thanks for the feedback. This was shot with the SB600 Speedlight triggered remotely.

Other lighting systems - $,$,$ are the reasons I don't own any yet. Fixed income tends to cause long times between purchases.

In any event, this was shot at Church between services - didn't have time to setup lighting even if I had them. Additionally, arriving late meant not seeing the flowers until then when I decide if I even want to shoot anything.
The choir practice before church - the need to change robes after and wanting to see as many friends as possible saves very little precious time to prepare even the simplest additional lighting (which again, I don't own :-)

At home, it's a different story - I have more time and control of environment.
