We drove down to California for the New Year, the journey was amazing, a 10 hour drive from Portland to Sacramento, and what a view we got going through the pass between Oregon and California. This is Mount Shasta (elev. 14000ft). Every one was stopping to take pictures!!!

A breathtaking sight of beauty. You captured this photo at the right time. Lovely light on the mountain and the colors are spectacular. I am happy that you are seeing some of the beauty of our country. I have visited the area and saw Mount Shasta and you have presented it with excellence. What a great area to visit and the wonderful trip down to California.
