PedroBala's Fotothing

After four months waiting for it, the Mavericks contest has finally happened. It was this Saturday, and took place in half moon bay, CA. Mavericks is such a huge massive human grinder wave.
The contest was fun. Many... many... massive wipe outs. There was even a sneak wave that hit the people who were watching the contest on a pillar. 13 people got injured (broken leg... broken wrist... etc) and many got their camera damaged since they were soaked in salt water.

I have just got back from the beach and need to get some other stuff done. Soon I'll upload more pictures of the event, but here is a little bit of Mavericks.for you all
