Built in wood in1904 the Neptune is a Lake Geneva boat, and one of the last witnesses of commercial shipping on Lake Geneva. It was initially designed for the transport of stones (it carried loads of up to 120 tons) before passengers.

The first restoration was made between 1972 and 1976, and a second complete restoration in 2004-2005.

A foundation has been created to ensure the conservation of this boat.

Btw. The Neptune, heated and equipped with a permanent radio link, can be hired privately for special occasions, family or business trips.
