Last week I dared to walk along the Lake Léman, Geneva in spite of very cold temperatures and a wind called bise *)!! After a while my fingers were nearly frozen and my eyes begun to be in tears !! For these reasons I had to stop and go home...........

Maybe for the wind bise not was frozen wholly surface of the lake ?

No, Claudia, it was above all the cold wind provoking big waves which gave us all these beauties but coldness should have lasted more to frozen the lake's surface. In the protected sailingboat harbours it had just a thin part of ice.
