Pam's Fotothing

We visited a small market town called Market Weighton in Yorkshire. Its claim to fame is that the tallest man who's ever lived was born there and spent most of his life there. His name was William Bradley and he was only 33 when he died of Tb.

He was 7' 9" tall and is apparently still in the Guinness Book of records. Not so long ago someone from the town created this statue of him from the trunk of a oak tree that was around in the area when he was born.
