We went to an "Apple Day" in Shropshire, where a family of mum, dad and two sons are developing the 18 acre site where they live (in a caravan) into a permaculture centre. Since being there they've planted hundreds of trees, including ninety (yes, 90!) varieties of apples.
This machine is a juicer; chopped apples are fed in at the top and delicious juice comes out at the bottom, and it's much nice than the juice you can buy commercially. It really takes like apples! (left in a barrel for about six months it would turn into cider!)
