More from Penmon, on the eastern coast of Anglesey, North Wales. This is a dovecot, which was created in 1600. According to the nearby notice, this one has 930 nesting holes inside, the birds would fly in and out through the cupola on the roof, and they usually ended up on someone's meal table............... (as a vegetarian I don't like that bit)
