This is still Stirling Castle, Scotland. There is a saying " He who holds Stirling, holds Scotland" And of course in every castle should be kitchens.When the Great Hall was built from 1501 to 1504 a new range of kitchens was built against the eastern curtain wall to ensure that large events could be catered for. There is a wax exhibition now to show the food habits of former Scottish rulers.
