Pohutukawa Coast

The Pōhutukawa Coast is a beautiful coastal area which includes popular seaside spots of Beachlands and Maraetai. The Pōhutukawa Coast is an easy 40 minutes drive of Auckland City centre and 20 minutes from Manukau City centre.

Named after the pōhutukawa trees which grow along the cliff tops, the trees provide a stunning backdrop to the area, particularly at Christmas time when spectacular red flowers bloom, heralding the start of the festive season.
